Sensei Butch Morgan

I joined the Coszacks Karate Club in 1985 under the founder of the club Master Jeff Moore. My continued learning experience had taken me in to competitions throughout the Ohio Valley. My accomplishments include first place wins in such prestigious tournaments as The Budwieser Grand Nationals, Ohio State Championship, The West Virginia Championship, The Tri-State Championship, Also I have won First place in The Four Seasons Tournament sponsored by Master Rick Moore out of Columbus Ohio, and several other wins including The Annarino Invitational sponsored by Master George Annarino from Newark Ohio

I earned my Black Belt in 1992 From Master Jeff Moore and then Sensei Jeff Hardwick. I've continued to learn under the tutelage of now Master Jeff Hardwick and have just earned my Third Degree Black Belt (see photo on recent promotions page).

I've taught classes for The Latch Key Program for Zanesville City Schools and Pierce Street Community Center, I have also assisted in classes under Master Jeff Hardwick at the YMCA in Zanesville, Good Samaritan Hospital, Ohio State University and currently in The Coszacks Karate Clubs newest location the Cheer and Tumble Center on Old Falls Road in Zanesville where I continue to be an active member, student, and assistant instructor.

Under the blessing of Master Jeff Hardwick I have decided to start another class south of Zanesville to offer students in a new location a chance to experience and learn the Coszacks Style of Martial Arts. At the same time current Coszacks students are welcome to participate in my classes, which count towards promotions for students who train mostly at the Zanesville classes.

The classes are held at The Youth Barracks located behind Cornerstone Church at 4509 Salt Creek Dr. Duncan Falls Ohio The class was started in March 2004, Class is held on Thursdays from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
